My StoryÂ
Â
From yoga to bodyweight strength & skills-based training — and competitive fighting.
My journey began with yoga at 15 years old — not as a form of fitness, but as a spiritual and meditative practise coming from India. Early on in life I became fascinated with the mind-body connection and (little did I know at the time) but would later lead me to spending a lot of time in Asia further deepening my understanding.
Long before I stepped into the world of strength training, circus and combat sports, I was a professionally trained actor from Drama Centre London, where my work centred on psychology, mindset, and the connection between emotion and the body. I spent five years immersed in the school’s methodology of Movement Psychology, informed by the principles of Rudolf Laban and Carl Jung, which shaped the foundation of how I understand human performance today.
After graduating, I entered the fitness industry as a trainer and yoga teacher. It wasn’t long before I was learning the more dynamic, demanding physical styles of yoga asana — vinyasa, power, and hot yoga. With no gymnastic background, I became obsessed with finding out what I could train my body to do. This curiosity led me into bodyweight strength, calisthenics, gymnastic strength, and eventually aerial acrobatics which with my performance background became the perfect blend of artistry with athleticism. I later completed my first professional training as an aerialist.
But bodyweight skills mastery alone wasn’t the full picture. Following a serious knee injury, I realised the system I was building lacked essential elements of cardiovascular and power-based conditioning. That search led me to Muay Thai.
Muay Thai transformed me. Beyond the physical intensity, it taught discipline, resilience, and the mindset of a fighter — qualities that extend far beyond sport and into everyday life. Ironically, the demands of the discipline brought me back to yoga, but through a different lens. Yoga became the space where I grounded myself, calmed my nervous system and reconnected with stillness after the intensity of competition and training. Today my practice is rooted in breath work, meditation, and as a moral standard for living life rather than as another form of fitness.
This blend of ancient practices, modern sports science, and lived experience became the foundation of KEWSTRENGTH.
My work is shaped by ongoing personal development. I travel extensively to study with world-class mentors, explore different philosophies, and stay deeply connected to the disciplines I teach. This commitment allows me to bring creativity, authenticity, and a willingness to push boundaries into every aspect of my work.

THE KEWSTRENGTH PHILOSOPHY
5 Pillars for sustainable change
With KEWSTRENGTH, it’s not just about looking strong — it’s about feeling empowered, grounded and fully alive in your body. These five pillars are the foundation I come back to, again and again, both in my own practice and with the people I coach.
- Movement:Â Intentional, safe and progressive whether you're building foundations, refining skills or working with injury prehab/rehab.Â
- Nutrition: No extremes. Just fuel that works for you. I focus on practical, sustainable choices that support strength, recovery and energy in movement and every day life.
- Sleep: This is your body’s reset button. We’ll work on simple, science-backed strategies to help you recharge fully — so you’re sharper, stronger and more present every day.
- Stress Management: Breathwork, mindfulness and recovery tools to bring your nervous system back into balance and help you build resilience.
- Hydration: It seems simple, but it’s essential. Staying hydrated supports every system in your body — from focus and energy to recovery and performance.
